Route

(Please not time and venue is approximate and will be updated asap.)

Agoge Mongolia will be something special.

Different cultures, different terrains, pushing just that little bit further than usual. Mongolia offers something no other Agoge has put forward before and we are excited at the prospect of exploring yet more new ground, meeting more new people and testing the human resolve.

Are you ready to go that extra mile in the land that is bordered by both Russia and China? The home of Genghis Kahn awaits, beckoning you in to test what you are capable of. Be prepared to be isolated. Mongolia is the most sparsely populated nation in the world, with only 4.3 people per square mile.

Be ready for the temperatures to be on the cooler side. Due to its high elevation, high latitude, landlocked location, and the effects of the Siberian anticyclone, Ulaanbaatar is the coldest national capital in the world, where the average temperature is -1 degree Celcius - that's only just over 30°F.

Remember that, as with all Agoge events, you must be proficient at knot tying, compass/map ready and be capable of completely waterproofing your gear. Any participants unable to demonstrate the ability to look after themselves run the risk of not participating.

We look forward to seeing you in Mongolia
